Tropico 3 is an upcoming 2009 politics and city building video game developed by Haemimont Games and published by Kalypso Media and it is a sequel to Tropico. The game will return to the roots of the series, putting the player into the shoes of “El Presidente” – a dictator governing over an island banana republic. Staying true to the spirit of Tropico, the new game will be a construction and management simulation with heavy emphasis on city building.
